Aleia Kay Baggett, 58, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.

Aleia was born in Longview, Texas on August 2, 1962 to Rex Carrol Jennings and Beaulah Jolene Coplan Jennings.  She was a recent resident of Sabine County, having moved to be closer to her daughter and grandson.  She like to crochet, read, and play games and she loved listening to classical guitar music.  She really loved horses.

Aleia is survived by her mother, Jolene Jennings of Lufkin; daughter, Cristal Lorraine Townsend of Hemphill; son, Joseph Lee Jennings of Arkansas; brother, Dennis Jennings and wife, Pattie, of Tyler; sister, Cindy Wornat of Longview; grandson, Brennon Michael Stewart of Hemphill; adopted grandchildren, Cheyenne and Michael Knauer, and Tanisha and Shawn Gordon; and great grandchildren, Blake, Xylia, David, and Serenity.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill.
