Barbara Ann Kirk, 83, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her residence.

Barbara was born on November 16, 1937 in Buna, Texas to Vernon Lee Sapp and Edith Lorene Jones Sapp.  She was a 48 year resident, having previously resided in Call, Texas.  Barbara was a member of Pine Park United Pentecostal Church and she was a loving housewife and mother.

Barbara is survived by her son, Allen Ray Kirk of Richmond; daughters, Melba Lucille Kirk, Lisa Ann Kirk and David Lynn Brymer, and Julie Kirk and John William Brymer, all of Hemphill; sister, Marilyn Sue Dinklage and husband, Teddy, of Livingston; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Earl Kirk, Sr.; son, Clyde Kirk, Jr.; brother, Kenneth Lee Sapp; and grandson, Aaron Dale Barlow.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Pine Park United Pentecostal Church under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Wright and Bro. Rex White officiating.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. prior to service.

Burial will follow services in Hemphill Cemetery with Darrell Estes, Michael Gaskamp, Ken Loggins, and David Brymer serving as pallbearers.
