Betsy was preceded in death by her husband Samuel W. Hutcheson Sr., sister Joan Hulsert, brother Floyd Stokes and two children by marriage, Samuel W. Hutcheson Jr. and Elizabeth Jensen.  She is survived by her daughter Jeane Lawson of Granbury and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her life was devoted to the Lord and her family.  She was active in Women's Aglow Fellowship in Houston.  After she and her husband retired to Milam, Betsy helped establish the Aglow chapter in Hemphill.
