Billy Ray Wilson, 86. of Milam, Texas passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Nacogdoches Medical Center.

Billy was born August 30, 1934 in Saint Jo, Texas to Oscar Sydney Wilson, Sr. and Rhoda Ellis Wilson.  A former resident of Many, Louisiana, he had resided in Milam for 18 years.  He had served in the United States Navy and later worked as a residential home contractor.  He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

Billy is survived by his wife, Mary Wilson of Milam; son, Alan Wilson of Ft. Worth; and daughters, Glenda Coffman and husband, David, of Milam and Brenda Johnson of South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his children, Ronald Gene Wilson and Ned E. Johnson.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill.
