Byrle Delane Williams, 85, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at Hillside Nursing and Rehab in Hemphill.

Byrle was born in San Augustine County, Texas on November 6, 1934 to James Edward Williams and Pearl Adure Kingsley Williams.

He was a machine operator at a sawmill for many years and he had also worked at Big Chief Grocery in Pineland and for the United States Forestry Services.  He loved to hunt and fish, drink coffee with his friends and loved his chihuahuas.  Byrle attended Rosevine Church of God.

Byrle was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents, Zack and Edna Kingsley.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonja Field and husband, Arlis (Buster) of Kingwood, Texas; brother, Leroy Williams and wife, Dorothy, of Hemphill; sister, Heralle Tullos of Dayton, Texas; grandchildren, Daniel Field of Magnolia; and Missy Makara and husband, Chris, of Kingwood; great-grandchildren, Natalie Page Field and Donovon Arlis Field of Conroe and Kylie Frances Makara and Kinsley Rose Makara of Kingwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. following visitation with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.

Burial will follow services in Hebron Cemetery.
