Carolyn Beckworth Lane, 75, of Pineland, Texas passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas.

She was born in Bearhead Creek, Louisiana on September 13, 1947 to Barney Beckworth and Lizzie Kingery Beckworth.  She and her husband, Robert E. Lane, were married on February 22, 1965.  She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Pentecostal Church her whole life.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Bronco Lane and wife, Vickie and Bobby Lane and wife, Stephanie of Pineland; daughter, Kim Lane of Pineland; 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, four sisters, and one brother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Lane; parents, Barney and Lizzie Beckworth; sisters, Inez Wright, Norma Lee Beckworth, and Annie Lee Stains; brother, Barney E. Beckworth; and grandson, Gary Sturrock.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Turning Point Tabernacle, 705 S. Temple Ave., Pineland, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Turning Point Tabernacle under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Alton Thornhill officiating.

Burial will follow services in Wood's Anex Cemetery with Clay Hyatt, Bobby Lane, Billy Lane, Shorty Lane, Jeremy Sturrock, Eddie Lane, Andrew Lane, David Richardson, James McMahon and Brandon Lane serving as pallbearers.
