Obituary

Chad Joseph Moroski, also known as "Rosco" to his friends and "C-Paw" to his grandsons, died Wednesday morning, March 22, 2023 of an apparent heart attack.

Chad was born in Harvard, Illinois on July 6, 1969 to James Steve "Jim" Moroski and Dolores J. "Lori" Zalesny Moroski.  He and his family lived in Lake Villa, Illinois before moving to Sabine County in 1974.  He attended school at Hemphill ISD and was a member of the graduating class of 1987.  After graduation, he worked as a residential carpenter.  He was a member of The Refuge Church in Milam and also attended Only Believe Ministries in Hemphill.

Chad was a professional fisherman, professional hunter and professional trapper and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR.  He loved to cook and bake and was famous for his pecan pies.  He had always dreamed of having his own food truck.  He was well known and had many friends who loved him.  But his greatest achievement was that of being the best son, brother and father that his family could ever ask for.  And, of course, the best "C-Paw" to Kreed and Kross.

Chad is survived by his parents, Jim and Lori Moroski of Hemphill; daughter, Kaylee Morgan Moroski of Rosevine; brother, Kurt James Moroski and wife, Lisa, of Plano; his grandsons, Kreed Pearson and Kross Pearson; and his little dog, Tripp.
