Charles ("Charlie") Dean Guinn, 71, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
Charlie was born in Texarkana, Texas on March 4, 1950 to William Burlin Guinn and Wilma Manthey
Guinn.

Charlie was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp having served in Vietnam. After his military
service, he worked primary in Commercial construction, rising to retire as company Vice President.
A constant learner, Charlie pursued many hobbies in addition to his love for fishing. He spent time
chasing the arts of gourmet cooking, eagerly reading, asking others and experimenting in the kitchen.
His BBQ smoked ribs were a shining example of these efforts for those lucky enough to be there when
they came off the grill.

Always the helper, always on the lookout to support others, he was the first call for many, enthusiatically
passing along his knowledge and experiences gained from years in industry and time spent outdoors.
He lived on Toledo Bend in Sabine County since 1999, previously residing in Houston splitting weekends
at the lake (of course!). His passion for outdoors was fishing and more fishing. In his own words, "I love
my wife, I love my job and I love to fish".

Charlie is survived by his wife, Martha Jones of Hemphill; nephews, Tom Jones of Houston, Paul Brown
of St. Louis, MO, Ben and Ji Jones of San Francisco, CA, Michael and Rebecca Jones of Tucson, AZ
and Sam Jones of New York; nieces, Savannah Ingram of St. Louis, MO, Caitlin Jones of Walnut
Creek, CA and Rachel Bennett and husband David; and sister, Deborah Stevens of St. Louis.
