Colby Danielle Gates, 33, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 in Brookeland, Texas.

Colby was born on July 10, 1987 to George Neely and Tammy Jo Barlow.  She was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and she loved going to the beach, fishing, her friends and family, and most of all, her kids.

She is survived by her father, George Neely; mother, Tammy Jo Barlow; sons, Carson Gates, Rylan Gates, and Rayden Gates, all of Hemphill; daughters, Kaylen Gates and Brilee Gates, of Hemphill; brother, Colton Neely of Hemphill; and grandfather, Billy Barlow of Hemphill and husband, Dylan Gates.

Colby was preceded in death by her brother, Corey; her grandmother, Vernon Lee Barlow and her grandparents, E.O. Neely and Mollie Neely.

A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Cecil Paul Mott officiating.

Burial will follow in Hemphill Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas.
