David Larry Broussard, Jr passed away on July 4, 2020 in Dallas, TX.

David was born in Port Arthur, TX on October 12, 1960 to Carolyn Elsie McDonald and David Larry Broussard, Sr. David was retired from the IT industry having spent his last years working the help desk at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT. David was noted for his enthusiasm and friendliness as he on-boarded new students in the program. David was a big gamer, loved trains of all kinds and especially loved his Hawaiian shirts!!

David was predeceased by his father, David Larry Broussard, Sr and his brother John Venetis. David is survived by his mother, Carolyn and her husband, Charlie Venetis and all of his children – David Broussard III, Corrin Broussard and Peter Broussard. David has 20 grandchildren and 2 on the way. David is also survived by his brothers, Dane Broussard (Laura), Tom Venetis and Demetrios Venetis (Kristen) and his sisters Dianna Prachyl (Ronnie) and Dawn Green (James) and all of their children and grandchildren.

David is departing from this life too soon but leaves a legacy of hope for a better future for his children and grandchildren. He wanted the best for all of those he loved! "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 10 ^th , at 11:00 a.m. at the Bobbitt Family Cemetery in Bronson, TX, under the direction of the Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill, TX.
