Doris Fay Dixon Wiess,96, of Hemphill, Texas died Saturday July 4, 2020 at a local nursing home.

She was born in Beaumont, TX June 20, 1924 to parents, Author Dixon and Henry Fay Rose.

She was a post master at Sabine Pass, TX and retired as a technician with the Texas state employment commission.

She is survived by her daughters Dolores Scank of Port Neches, TX and Linda Chilek and her husband Joe of Hemphill, one brother Richard Dixon of Meridian, MS, five grand children, eight great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Author and Henry Fay Dixon, her husband Richard D. Wiess, a brother Alden Dixon and grandson Frank Langham.
