Edward Earl McBride, 89, of Pineland, Texas passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Hemphill Care Center.

Earl was born September 18, 1931 in Pineland, Texas to Edward McBride and Callie Welch McBride. He was a member of the United States Army having served in Korea. Earl enjoyed being outside tending to animals and gardening.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Deva McBride of Pineland; son, Jeff McBride of Pineland; daughter, Paula Booty and husband, Travis of Jasper; brothers, Albert McBride of Nacogdoches, and Larry McBride and wife, Nell of Pineland; and grandchildren, Robert Earl McBride and Kaitlyn Booty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Callie McBride; and his sister, Judy McBride.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Centerview Cemetery in Pineland, Texas under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
