George Henry Burdette, 67, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.

George Henry (Hank) was born on August 9, 1955 in Texas to James Burdette and Elizabeth Weaver Burdette.  He enjoyed his time working overseas.  He was especially fond of collecting vehicles.  Hank was a Navy Veteran having served four years and being honorably discharged.  He received the National Defense Service Medal.  Hank marched to the beat of his own drum and was unapologetic about it.

He is survived by his niece, Jennifer McDaniel; nephews, James Woody, Eric Burdette and Christopher Burdette; and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Jimmy Burdette, Elizabeth Burdette, Callie Burdette and David Burdette.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home.
