George Henry McCauley, 46, of Hemphill, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Jasper, Texas.

George was born on February 17, 1976 in Galveston, Texas to parents, Steven McCauley and Judy Ann Clark. He was a veteran of the US ARMY. George was an artist who loved rock music and was loved by many. He was baptized into Christ at the East Mayfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by  his mother, Judy Clark of Hemphill; brothers, Chris McCauley and wife, April of Pineland, Steven Patrick McCauley of Hemphill, and William J. McCauley and wife, Kim of Kirbyville; step-sisters, Joyce Fregia and Victoria Ard; step-brother, Rodney Fregia; cousins, Mike McCauley, Walter Jay McCauley, Brenda Jo Sowell and Billy Alex; nieces, Melanie and Kaitlin; and nephew, Tristan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven McCauley.

A Graveside service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Parker Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas with Bro. Andy Hays officiating. Family and cousins will serve as pallbearers.
