Harry Michael Cieri, Sr. of Hemphill, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his residence.

Harry was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Anthony J. Cieri and Elizabeth Doherty.

Mr. Cieri was a disabled United States Navy Veteran, having served his country for 21 years and retiring with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer – III.  He was a member of Fairdale Baptist Church, V. F. W. Post #10351, and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gidget Cieri of Fairmount; sons, Harry Cieri, Jr. and wife, Jennifer, of College Station and James Cieri of Fairmount; daughter, Betty Zoda of California; brother, Tony Cieri, III of Pennsylvania; sister, Betty Manning of Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, George Cieri; and his brother, George Cieri.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home.
