Janet Lynn Seales born on April 13, 1976 in Springville, New York, passed away at Legacies Nursing Home in Hemphill, Texas on December 20, 2024 at age 48.

After completing high school, Janet Lynn lived with her parents and enjoyed many trips and restaurants. During that time, Janet learned to read and write and learn sign language from books and DVDs. She signed congregational songs in the Nazarene Church in Arcade, New York, and signed the songs her parents sang at many nursing homes and churches.

After a serious break in her left leg, Janet came to live at Legacies Nursing Home. She loved living at Legacies, and she especially loved Lisa Clark and Ginger Ferguson. Janet Lynn loved to sing karaoke, do puzzles, color, play bingo, make crafts, and dance. Oh, how she loved to dance! She danced at home with her CD player.

Janet was a member of the Nazarene Church in Arcade, New York as well as a member of the Church of God in Pineland, Texas.

Janet Lynn is survived by her parents, Jimmy and Janet Seales; brothers, W. Brent Seales and wife, Pamela and Stephen Seales and wife, Suzanne; she also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Julia, Andrew, Jesse, Timothy, Natalie, Rachel and Sarah; great niece, Linnell and great nephew, Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kermit Seales and her niece, Alexandra.

Janet Lynn gave her heart to Jesus when she was 7 years old.
Today, she is rejoicing in Heaven with her grandparents, brother and many other friends.

Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Yellowpine Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Charles Moody officiating. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
