Jason Lamar Davis, 38, of Pendleton, Texas passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Milam, Texas.

Jason was born February 4, 1982 in Columbus, Georgia to Delbert Raymond Davis, Sr. and Bertha Geneva Vann. Jason worked as a carpenter for Jack Built Contractors out of Beaumont and put his heart and soul into the Pendleton Harbor Fire Department. He was a loving and devoted father who will be missed by his many friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Powers of Hemphill; son, Coty Davis of Bronson; step-daughter, Lynnsey Thompson; brothers, Ray Davis and wife, Sara of California, and Clyde Edmunds of Mississippi; sister, Tabitha Davis; and niece, Jade Davis.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. George Ross officiating.

Burial will follow servcies in Lowes Chapel Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas with Ray Davis, Wesley Evans, Antonio Vasquez, Sammy McClelland, Ralph Hill, and Dyllan Guy serving as pallbearers.
