Jennie Marie Burton, 69, of Hemphill, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at CHI Memorial in San Augustine, Texas.

Jennie was born on December 31, 1951 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Caleb R. Hill, Jr. and Edith Hill. She was a longtime resident of Sabine County and was a member of the Community Fellowship Church in the Fairmount Community. Jennie served with Salvation Army in Hemphill and was actively involved in women's ministry. She always wanted to help where she could.

She is survived by her church family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim Burton.

A Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Community Fellowship Church in the Fairmount Community of Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Daniel Serenil officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hemphill, Texas Salvation Army in her name.
