Jimmy Marvin Curry, 86, of Pineland, Texas passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Hemphill Care Center in Hemphill, Texas.

Jimmy was born in Pineland, Texas on April 12, 1936 to William Thomas Curry and Oma Lee Green Curry.  He was a lifetime resident of Pineland and a cattle rancher.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Curry.

Jimmy is survived by his nephew, Louis Chapman of Woodville; nieces, Marlene Brown of Groveton, Julie Chapman of Jasper, and Elaine Sontag of Woodville; and numerous cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Sowell Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. David Ebarb officiating and family and friends serving as pallbearers.
