Kathy Lou Black, 68, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at her residence.

Kathy was born in Hemphill, Texas on March 23, 1952 to James Howard Cassidy and Marjorie Elmira Hasty Cassidy.  She was a member of the Hemphill High School Class of 1970. She was a loving wife and mother.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Tommy Black of Hemphill; son, Aubra Don Sigler and William Siglar of Garland, Texas; daughters, Misty Elaine Chrisley of Penbroke, VA and Charla Rene' Fults of Nacogdoches, Tx; brothers, Jack Friday Cassidy and wife, Debbie, of Hemphill, Joe Cassidy and wife, Daisey, of Davenport, WA, John Cassidy and wife, Debbie, of Huntington, and Paul Cassidy and wife, Millie, of Hemphill; grandchildren, Garry Lynn Samford, Johnathon Paul Samford, Thomas J. E. Ramsey, Elaina A. Chrisley, Raymond J. Chrisley, and James A. Hughlock; and great grandchildren, Kamryn Lea Holland, Alexis Rene' Ramsey, and Dylan N. Hughlock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marjorie Cassidy; brother, James Howard Cassidy, Jr., and sister, Elaine White.

Cremations arrangements are being handled by Starr Funeral Home.
