Linda Jane Courtier, 72, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Hemphill Care Center.

Linda was born in Lima, Ohio on November 29, 1949 to Wynton Byron Hudson and Eliza Jane Baker Hudson.  She was a resident of Castor, Louisiana before moving to Sabine County in 1996.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed all kinds of crafting, especially sewing and cross stitch and she loved adult coloring books.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Tim Courtier; brothers, Wesley Hudson and Walter "Mickey" Hudson and her sister, Carolyn Rogers.

She is survived by her sons, Jason A. Courtier and wife, Joy, of Little Cypress and David A. Courtier of Hemphill; daughters, Colette Wallace of Pineland and Carolyn S. Youngblood and husband, James, of Nacogdoches; step-son, Cary G. Courtier of Orange; grandchildren, Victoria, Valeriee, Patrick, Timothy, Thomas, Chase, Dylon, J'Ana, Jonah, Rayne, Adalynn, Shayna, Garrett, Christian and Ryan; and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rex White officiating.

Burial will follow services in Springhill Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
