Mary Evelyn Brock, 81, (or as she would say, 39 and holding)  of Milam, Texas passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Mary was born on May 26, 1939 in East Point, Georgia to Grady Miles and Deemi Ruth Wade Miles.  She had worked as an ammunition supervisor.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Brock of Milam, Texas; son, Edwin C. Brock, Jr. and Peggy Kelley of Lake Charles, Louisiana; daughter, Michelle Spence and husband, Brian, of San Antonio, sister, Brenda Hilton of Bowden, Georgia; grandchildren, Eddie Buck and wife, Jennifer, Taylor Spence and wife, Tricia, Dustin Buck and wife, Tabatha, Justin Buck and wife, Michelle, and Heather Spence; and great grandchildren, Corey Buck, Summer Buck, Bryson Buck, Aris Buck, Parker Buck, Brylie Buck, Knox Spence Triston and Se'lah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Ruth Miles; brothers, Donald Miles and Larry Miles; sister, Frances Garland; and daughters, Stephanie Buck and Teresa Brock.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Pam Lunderburg officiating.
