Melba Florine Wilson, 85, of Nacogdoches, Texas passes away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Nacogdoches.

Melba was born on July 23, 1935 in Nacogdoches to Jesse Gilbert Thacker and Fannie Wilson Thacker.  She was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Tena Woodcock and husband, Loyd, of Nacogdoches; sister, Audrey Boyett of Pineland; grandchildren, Clinton Woodcock and wife, JoDee, of Nacogdoches, Christine Woodcock of Frisco, Texas, and Michael McCann and wife, Ottilie, of Hockley, Texas; and great grandchildren, Blake Russell, Callie Jo Woodcock and Cara Jean Woodcock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Odell Wilson; daughter, Brenda Rangel; granddaughter, Jenny Russell; brothers, J. H. Thacker and Leonard Thacker; and sister, Vera Lou Vallo.

Graveside services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Joel Halbert Cemetery in Milam, Texas under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to service at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.
