Melissa Lynn Sanders, 41, of Hemphill, Texas, passed away on November 24, 2024. Born on May 8, 1983, in Hemphill, she was a lifelong resident and a cherished member of the community.

Melissa was known for her kind and loving nature. She was an excellent cook, often delighting her family and friends with delicious meals. A voracious reader, Melissa also had a passion for horror movies and took great joy in doing her own makeup, showcasing her artistic side.

Melissa is survived by her loving family: her mother, Teresa Sanders Hancock and her husband, Curtis of Milam, Texas; her son, Gabriel Titman and his wife, Taylor of Fort Drum, New York; her daughters, Leanna Earnst, Phoebe Troutman, and Huxlee Leone, all of Milam, Texas; her brother, Frankie Sanders of Milam, Texas; and her sister, Heather Sanders Barrow of Baytown, Texas. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Walker Titman and Rowan Schmidt.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Frank Sanders.
