Michele Elois Meleton, 74, of Pineland, Texas passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Texas.

Michele was born in Houston, Texas on February 4, 1948 to Robert Curtis Keller and Zelma Elois Ansley Keller.  A native of Houston, she had lived most of her life in Pineland and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She had worked as an office manager in the medical field for many years.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed celebrating holidays with her family.  Her life revolved around her grandchildren, her family and her church.

Michele is survived by her son Patrick Meleton and wife, Michelle, of Tyler; daughters, Stacey Landerman and husband, Greg, of Nacodoches, Ami Sharpley of Huntington, Donna Reaves and husband, John, of Pineland, Becca Anthony and husband, Allen, of Woden and Elizabeth Burkhart and husband, Austin, of Nacogdoches; close friend and father of her children, Raymond I. Meleton, Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler, Matt, Chase, Sarah, Scott, Erin, Hayden, John David, Jack, Julayne, Allie, Max, Emma and Sadie; and great grandchildren, Michael, Kaisley, Madelyn and Kimber.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Zelma Keller.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Pineland First United Methodist Church, 602 S Temple Ave., Pineland, Texas under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Rev. Alberto Williams officiating.

Burial will follow services in Centerview Cemetery with Matt Hinote, Michael Hinote, Chase James, Hayden Boyer, Jack Meleton, Josh Herrington and John Reaves serving as pallbearers.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are Patrick Meleton, Allen Anthony, Austin Burkhart, Josh Plaisance, Joe Leath and Greg Landerman.
