Nancy Anne Loring, 91, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Sabine County Hospital.

Nancy was born in New Britain, Connecticut on June 21, 1930 to Arthur John Nelson and Florence Kilbourne Nelson.  She was a 40 year resident of Shawnee Shores in Sabine County, having previously resided in Vidor.

Nancy graduated Nursing School in 1950 and worked as a Registered Nurse many years before her retirement.  She loved to crochet and read and was an longtime member of the Garden Club, the Sister's Circle, the Friendship Club.  She was an original member of the Six Mile Aerobics group, participating for 32 years.

Nancy loved her family and many friends.  She was always willing to help anyone who needed her and she loved to collect elephants through her travels.

She is survived by her son, Michael Loring and wife, Sharon, of Manning, South Carolina; daughter, Barbara Guillory and husband, Bobby, of Hemphill; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel.

Memorial services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home.
