Robert Eugene Wright, of Saraland, Alabama (formerly of Milam, Texas) went home to Jesus Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the age of 91.

Robert was born to Benjamin and Ida Wright on January 25, 1932 in Franklin, Texas.  As a child, he enjoyed time spent hunting and fishing with his dad.

Robert met his wife, Jean, in 1968.  They had a love that stood the test of time.  He was an instant father of four children when they married on November 22, 1968.

In addition to being a hard working and dedicated husband and father, he also loved to draw and oil paint.  Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Robert joins his wife, Jean Wright; father and mother, Benjamin and Ida Wright; sister, Helen Frasier; brother, Jimmy Wright; and son, Terry Warmack, in Heaven.

He is survived by daughter, Vickie Mcwhirter and husband, Russell; son, Ricky Warmack and wife, Tracy; daughter, Teresa Andrews and husband, Ray; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
