Rodney Paul Roberts, 69, of Milam, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.

Rodney was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 1, 1952 to Julius Willis Roberts and Mary Louise Porter Roberts.  He worked as a machinist for many years in Groves before moving to Sabine County five years ago.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, David Allen Roberts and wife, Tiffany, of Benton, Louisiana; daughter, Teresa Louise Keefe and Dave of Belmar, New Jersey; sisters, Pat Pool of Oklahoma, Cindy and Don Royer of Fannett, Texas and Diane and Larry Presley of DeRidder, Louisiana; step-siblings, Margie Pool of Port Neches and Carolyn and Carl Harrell of Vidor; grandchildren, Shayla, Shaun, Alyssa, Amberli, and Elise; and one great grandchild, Lily.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill.
