Sadie Rae Ward, 82, of Pineland, Texas passed away Friday, January  22, 2021 at Woodland Heights Hospital in Lufkin, Texas.

Mrs. Ward was born on July 31, 1938 in Zavalla, Texas to Walter Reynolds and Henritta Ponder Reynolds. She was a longtime resident of Sabine County and a member of Strickland Crossing Church of God.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Marcus Lee Ward.

She is survived by her sons, Claude Ward of Pineland and Ronnie Ward of Bronson; daughter, Sadie Bebee of Jasper; brother, Hubert Reynolds of Jasper; sister, Mary Hall of Jasper; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Services will begin at 11:00 Monday, January 25, 2021 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Moody officiating.

Burial will follow services in Pineland Cemetery.
