Sandra Jean Creech, 65, of Pineland, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Nacogdoches Medical Center.

Sandra was born in Livingston, Texas on January 4, 1956 to John Earl Wells, Sr. and Eloise Odessa Kilgore Wells.  She was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hemphill and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Sandra worked for the United States Post Office as a Rural Postal Carrier for 20+ years and in her spare time, she loved to work in her yard.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Creech.

She is survived by her daughters, Cherie Flournoy of Pineland and Miranda Creech and Kevin Phillips of Beaumont; brothers, John Wells, Jr. and wife, Elaine, of Livingston and Carl Wells and wife, Sandy, of Hemphill; sisters, Janna Griffin and Brenda Salame, both of Bronson; and two grandchildren, Saber Flournoy and Dayton Flournoy.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Herring officiating.

Burial will follow services in Pleasant Grove Cemetery on Whitehead Cemetery Road in Pineland, Texas.
