Sandra Jeanette McDonald Fondon 77, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Sandra was born March 15, 1945 in Beaumont, Texas to Floyd 'Mac' Franklin and Florence Ella Bobbitt McDonald. She was a homemaker and worked as a Christian School teacher. Her hobbies included sewing, genealogy research and scrapbooking. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Benny Glenn Fondon of Montgomery, Alabama.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Fondon of Montgomery, Alabama; sons, Kevin Lee Fondon of Nashville, Tennessee; and Darrell Shane Fondon of Charlotte, North Carolina; granddaughter, Sarah Raquel Fondon of Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters, Rosa Hunter, Marolyn Garrard, Carolyn Venis, Karen Watts, Debra Kirkland and Cindy McDonald; and many nieces and nephews. Close relationship with nieces, Dianna Prachyl, Dawn Green, Tammy Silvas and nephews, Dane Broussard, Demetrios Venetis, Timothy Watts.

Preceded in death by nephew, David Broussard.

Graveside Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Bobbitt Cemetery with Bro. Marlon Mosley officiating.

A visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral services at Starr Funeral Home Chapel.
