Sharon Kay Halbrook, 81, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 in Nacogodches Medical Center.

Sharon was born on December 12, 1938 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Harold Jasper Whitman and Vida Bramlet Whitman. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Milam. Sharon was a homemaker who enjoyed painting and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Attieson Halbrook of Hemphill; and her son, Jon Michael "Mike" Halbrook and Gay Corley of Hemphill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Vida Whitman.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Oliphant Memorial Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Mike Tillman officiating. A lunch will follow at Bethany Baptist Church in Milam.
