Susan Kathleen Benoit, 55, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her residence at Pendleton Harbor.

Susan was born in Houston, Texas on April 26, 1966 to Boyce Virgil Beaty and Pauline Frances Leone.  She had earned her associate's degree in nursing had worked as an LVN for Arkansas Health Center in Benton, Arkansas before moving to Sabine County.

Susan was a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church in Hemphill and she was a talented photographer with her favorite subjects being her grandchildren and nature.  She also enjoyed sewing, crafting and fishing and loved to shop thrift stores and yard sales.

Susan is survived by her husband, Rennie Benoit of Hemphill; sons, Jonathan Vidrine and wife, Destiny, of Jonesboro, AR, Jacob Vidrine of Benton, AR, Joshua LeBlanc of Jonesboro, AR, and Jared Vidrine and wife, Jessica, of Beebe, AR; her sons' father, Craig Vidrine, of Benton; brother, David Lamont; sisters, Rebecca Wright and Laney Simon; aunts, Kathy Rachel and Marcelina Beaty; and grandchildren, Jace, Braxton, Madilynn, Logan, Paislee, Adam, Grayson, and Jodye.

A memorial service will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Fairplay Missionary Baptist Church in Glen Rose, AR.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill, Texas.
