Tina Lorinda Jay, 52, of Hot Springs, passed away July 16, 2021. She was born November 12, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas to Herb and Glenda (Nelson) Rice.

Tina is preceded in death by her grandparents Glenn Nelson and Meemaw and Papaw Rice; nephew Dylan Jewel; mother-in law Jane Street; father-in-law Val Jay; and special dog Honey Jay.

Loving survivors include her parents; husband Brett Jay; son Matthew Jay (Cara); daughters Cassie Jay-Barron (Andrew) and Taylor Jay; sisters Kara Hyden (Michael) and Holly Carrizales (Rolando); granddaughter Demi Barron; and grandmother Lorene Nelson.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at Hot Springs Junior Academy Arena on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and at First Baptist Church in Hemphill, Texas on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the youth departments of either Crossgate Church or First Baptist Church Hemphill.
