Vickie Lynn Haiman, 65, of Pineland, Texas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Vickie was born on June 24, 1955 in Odessa, Texas to Elvis Other Armstrong and Glenice Grantham Armstrong.  She worked as a Home Health Nurse.

Vickie is survived by her mother, Glenice Faircloth of Hemphill, Texas; son, Michael Shane Freeman of Pineland, Texas; daughter, Kristy Marie; brothers, Sonny Armstrong and wife, Vicky, of Pineland and Ricky Paul Armstrong and wife, Dena, of Holland, Michigan; sisters, Edna Marie Brittain of Many, Louisiana and Sandra Kay Hogan and husband, Benny, of Hemphill; grandchildren, Katelynn Zamora, Christopher Hopkins, Karagan Hopkins, Alexander Freeman; great grandchildren, Adeline Zamora and Danielle Zamora.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elvis Armstrong.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.

Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Burl McBride officiating.

Burial will follow services in Centerview Cemetery with Leonardo Zamora, Justin Hopkins, Dalton King, Benny Hogan, Trevor Watson, Matthew Glober and Zach Beason serving as pallbearers.
