Winford Eugene Glover, 67, of Pineland, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Texas.

Winford was born in Pineland on December 12, 1954 to James Elbert Glover and Vivian Irene Fore Glover.  He was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and had worked as a truckdriver for many years.

He loved to spend his time fishing and camping.  He also enjoyed playing Phase 10 and Dominoes.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Glover of Pineland; daughters, Rita Glover of Pineland and Kay Jones; step-daughter, Michelle Lakey of Brookeland; sisters, Marcell Chiasson and Mary Sue Williams; nieces Pam Smith and Shana Smith; nephews, Lance Williams, James "JR" Glover and John Glover; grandchildren, Maddison Havard, Roman Havard, Tyler Lakey and Tayler Lakey; two great granddaughters and one great grandson.

Memorial services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Floyd Wright, Bro. David Ebarb, and Bro. Luke Birdwell officiating.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home.
